Aucoot x House Obsessed Launch Ripple House

Words by Hannah Nixon

On a bright November afternoon, Aucoot and House Obsessed celebrated the launch of Ripple House, the latest project by micro-developer Sara Mungeam. We’ve long admired Sara’s commitment to exceptional architecture, from her project ‘The Corner House’, which was designed by 31/44 and shortlisted for RIBA House of the Year, to the reimagining of her own 1930s semi-detached home.

We were joined by architects, interior designers and social media creators to explore the unique ‘ripple’ brickwork of Ripple House, a design that transforms an awkward, sharp corner into an undulating curve, allowing the building to wrap softly around the pavement rather than jutting out. Designed by Gruff Architects, Ripple House sits alongside two newly created flats within a Victorian terrace, both completely reconfigured into generous modern apartments.

As we bring the apartments to market, we’re proud to showcase Sara’s exceptional interior design and the refined finishes she has applied throughout. “I’m very excited to be working with Aucoot,” Sara says. “I was drawn to their design-led approach to selling properties. Good design requires real investment in time, expertise and attention to detail, so it’s wonderful to work with an agency that understands this and can communicate it through amazing photography and video content.”
