For those who know me, estate agency was a curious choice of career path. I’ve never really matched the stereotypical image of someone working in this industry. I recognise that the title ‘Estate Agent’ is a dirty word for some, but I am not apologetic of it. I have learnt the trade from the ground up – I have mastered every single element of the job and am far better for it.

I started Aucoot because I have a deep appreciation for the beautiful, the well-crafted and the considered. My creative background gives me the ability to see details with an educated eye and a knowledge of how to present things in the best possible light. I felt there wasn’t already in existence an agency selling people’s homes with the same care and attention that had been spent on creating them, regardless of their architectural style or the period in which they were originally built.

Aucoot is a place. A place where estate agency meets good design. A place for the design literate to buy and sell their homes. A place people come to be inspired. A place people tell their friends about. I want Aucoot to be a byword for good taste and a place to be proud of. I want Aucoot to offer a promise of quality and beauty, with the surety of working with an experienced, competent agent.
