At Aucoot we believe there is real value in understanding what’s different; what’s better. Whether your home has been interior designed or diligently crafted over time – we appreciate the character it holds and recognise how important that is, especially when it comes to selling your home. In essence, you value good design, and so do we.
We work all over the UK and consider properties regardless of their location, age or architectural style. We don’t mind if your property is contemporary or traditional, whether it follows any particular fashion or trend. What’s important is how it communicates a cohesive sense of beauty and character.
We understand the importance of investing in considered marketing – presenting your property with the same consideration and respect that you have invested in creating it. Through photography that reflects the beauty of your home beyond its functional appeal and a refined marketing package we’ll communicate with a design literate audience who share your values.
For those considering a new home, Aucoot provides a promise of quality. Working with us will ensure you’re exposed to a curation of the most beautiful, interesting homes, all across the country. That might include a hidden gem, a style, or even a location you’d not previously considered. It will definitely mean homes that boast envious interiors, designed and executed beautifully.
Aucoot’s Owner and Director, John McDavid, has enjoyed marketing and selling some of the most exciting homes in the country, building a rich understanding of design and architectural form. His career has grown from creative beginnings – graduating from Art College and moving on to study photography before setting up his own record label. But an unlikely move into the world of estate agency saw him become Manager of a busy office in Clerkenwell for a respected national brand and his passion for the built environment was borne. More recently, John was asked to join a leading niche architectural estate agency as their Sales Director, where he was tasked with growing the company and directing operations. He’s spent the last decade selling property; from penthouses, to grand designs, barn conversions to listed townhouses. These experiences have fuelled his love for art, architecture and design – as well as giving him the opportunity to constantly learn more about people and places.
