Kana London was established in 2012 by Ana Kerin. After training in sculpture, and with a background in fine art, Ana set about making pieces that were functional and yet artistic. All her work is handmade by Ana herself, she even devises the mixtures of clays and the recipes for the glazes. While every piece could, and should, be considered an individual work of art, they are all built from stoneware and made to be used. Ana invited us to her studio in East London, where we got to learn more about her work, and enjoy handling these earthy, tactile, often playful pieces.
