Alma-nac is a London based, RIBA-Chartered architecture practice. They work with private, commercial and public clients across a wide range of scales and sectors. Critical to their approach as an architectural studio is ideas. Be they small or large, it is the strength of their ideas that form the crux of all Alma-nac projects. As they state, “we believe great ideas come from an in depth understanding of the environment they inhabit or the constraints with which they are bound, be they cultural, legal, environmental, physical, or even ontological.”

Mustard Architects have won awards for their designs, and been featured in magazines, newspapers and on TV. They’re experienced in creating new houses from scratch, adding new spaces to old houses, and making old buildings fresh and beautiful again. They work across the UK and their approach means that every building they create respects its context, belongs to its surroundings, and is sustainable to its core. Their ethos is about making beautiful, well-crafted spaces that people will want to inhabit and enjoy.

Architecture for London is an award winning, RIBA Chartered architecture practice dedicated to the creation of better buildings and places. Their work includes both new build houses and alterations to existing homes, from London house extensions and basements to lofts and garden rooms. Each provides inspiring, light filled spaces for living and entertaining. They have extensive experience with heritage properties, where there is often a need to balance sensitive refurbishment with carefully considered contemporary intervention. Projects are designed holistically with architecture, landscape, joinery and interiors each interlocking to form a coherent whole. They can also achieve Passivhaus standards with dramatically improved thermal performance, creating warmer and more comfortable homes. Their residential projects are widely recognised, with recent shortlistings in the AJ Small Projects, AJ Retrofit and NLA Don’t Move Improve awards.

Founded in 2011 by James Hoy and Alan Drumm, Uncommon Projects is not a traditional joinery company. Their bespoke furniture is made from high-quality hardwood veneered plywood – all designed and crafted in London. Both men come from very different creative backgrounds – James studied Fine Art and worked in toy design and Alan spent 14 years as an architect, but it is these differences that come together to create their unique and distinct style – informed by an honest approach to materials, functionality and visual balance.

McLaren.Excell are an award winning design-led architecture and interiors practice based in Central London. The practice is co-directed by Luke McLaren and Robert Excell, working primarily on private residential and commercial projects.

We love what we do and invest great energy in delivering projects which are beautifully conceived and finely crafted. We respond to our clients’ needs by designing projects in a very intimate and hands-on way, collaborating with people that we know and trust.

Established in 2010, the practice has taken on a diverse range of work in a short time, steadily building a reputation for producing buildings which have a calm authority and finely nuanced sense of place. Our studio has become a place of continual investigation into how we can develop our original ideas into a built reality and this process is driven by our genuine passion for good design.

Both Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen are artists, so it’s no surprise that their collection sits somewhere between design and art. It’s obviously ‘furniture’ but the emphasis is not completely about function and suggests different ways of living and using space. The Muller Van Severen collection invites participation – the chopping boards and trivets are wall sculptures that adapt to a functional role and change in appearance with use; the double facing seat only achieves its potential with use – two people engaging and perhaps forming new ideas. The process of ‘designing’ appears to be more like a conversation and an evolution of ideas, with one finished product inspiring the next – which makes the collection work so well as a whole.

Groves Natcheva Architects is a collaboration between Murray Groves and Adriana Natcheva, established in London in 2000. The studio offers services that encompass planning, architecture, interiors and furniture. The designs of the studio are site specific and focused on the individuality of each client. 

Hogarth Architects create inspired contemporary homes ranging from multi-million pound city houses to stylish country retreats. The essence of every Hogarth design is to view the home as a sanctuary. The practice undertakes commissions for new-build homes, as well as apartments, refurbishment/remodelling, extensions and interiors. Each project is approached as a unique piece of design, blending together traditional materials and state-of-the-art technologies to create a comfortable, stylish home that adeptly meets the needs of 21st-century living.

Tamzin Greenhill was born and educated in London and studied at the London School of Design, forming Tamzin Greenhill Designs in 2003. She prides herself on her style that is sophisticated, comfortable and timeless. Her work has taken her to projects in London, New York, Geneva and Los Angeles and she has designed for clients including Charles Finch, Eddie Spencer, Nat Rothchild, Ellie Shultzman and collaborated on homes for David Bowie and Claudia Schiffer.

Caroline Legrand’s work is probably best described as “eclectic chic” but also embodies sophistication, glamour and an element of whimsy. She states her inspiration comes from constant research and a love of art and design, in all its shapes and expressions. Above all she sees the home as the ultimate expression of your true self. So it’s easy to see why we love her work.

Born in Belgium, Caroline left at 17 to study in the US and moved to the Netherlands after graduating. Fluent in six languages, Caroline has travelled extensively giving her designs a global perspective and giving her an appreciation of international art and architecture. Caroline works internationally and is based between London and LA.

YAM Studios is a London-based interior design studio specialising in contemporary interiors. With a material-led, architectural approach to their projects, and a love for the minimalist aesthetic, they create beautifully refined spaces for their clients. They work on residential new builds and refurbishments with the scope to cover all aspects of a project from space planning, lighting and materials specification to bathroom, kitchen and joinery design, furniture and accessory specification.

Award-winning Welsh designer based in London, Bethan Gray has a passion for luxurious natural materials – leather, marble and solid wood – and an extensive knowledge of craftsmanship and cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. She designs for global retailers and prestigious brands including Lane Crawford, Liberty and Harrods.

In her years as a designer Bethan has also worked closely with craftspeople from all over the world, developing her eye for the rare and wonderful. Her sense of pattern, colour and form are at the heart of everything she designs. This in itself has been recognised by renowned Islamic art scholars, establishing Bethan as an ambassador for contemporary Islamic design.
