SCP was founded in 1985 by Sheridan Coakley as a manufacturer and retailer of modern furniture. Inspired by the designs of the Modern Movement, Coakley decided to start selling classic and hard to find pieces, while trying his hand a producing new designs in the same spirit. Nearly three decades on, SCP remains true to its founding idea, to make and sell design products that are functional, beautiful and made to last.

In 1986, SCP exhibited for the first time at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. On show were the first ever manufactured designs by Matthew Hilton and Jasper Morrison. Since that point, SCP has continued to develop new products every year. Employing the rich talents of designers that include Terence Woodgate, Konstantin Grcic, Michael Marriott, Russell Pinch, Robin Day, Donna Wilson, Alex Hellum, Kay+Stemmer, Reiko Kaneko, Lucy Kurrein, Timorous Beasties, PearsonLloyd, Rachel Whiteread and Peter Marigold.

Sebastian Cox is a furniture designer, maker and environmentalist based in South London. Founded in 2010, his design studio holds an acute dedication to sustainability at its heart, elevating carbon counting, forward thinking and zero waste as the principal components in all they do.

Sebastian Cox harvests and mills his own British timber, respectfully updating traditional techniques with innovation and technology to create beautiful heirloom furniture, lighting and home accessories. The studio has a clear mission: to store 100 tonnes of CO2 in the wooden objects they make each year; and to double the area of woodland and wild land in the UK by 2040 through the careful management of their woodland resources in Kent.

Sebastian’s appreciation for woodland began from an early age; he grew up surrounded by it and his parents restored timber-framed buildings for a living. With his upbringing as a foundation, he went on to study Furniture Design and Craftsmanship, followed by a Masters Degree in Design, at Lincoln University. It’s here that he developed an instinct for abundant and overlooked materials.

Sebastian has been labelled as one of the most influential designers in London by the London Evening Standard and listed amongst Forbes’ 30 under 30 to watch. His work has received a Design Guild Mark alongside other accolades from design publications including Elle Decoration, Homes & Gardens and EKKB.

Robert Stephenson founded Sedilia in 1998, as a bespoke furniture-design and -making business that cut through the popular pre-fab trends of the time to focus on purity and quality. With over 20 years experience working on commissions for some of the best interior designers out there, Sedilia continue to celebrate the elegance of the essential by blending timeless design and innovation with edge, ease, balance and proportion.

Sedilia launched their own collection of furniture in 2019, which includes the ‘curvaceous croissant of indulgence’ – the Roll Top Chair, and the Sennen Sectional, which is designed to be a striking centrepiece. All of Sedilia’s designs take comfort as seriously as style, and combine a traditional approach with modern making methods to ensure long lasting results.

They are straight talking, smart thinking creatives who work across residential and commercial, specialising in branded interior design. Their focus is on originality and innovation in everything they do.

Sheila Jack Landscapes is a small design studio based in central London, creating elegant, contemporary gardens characterised by precise attention to detail and effusive, naturalistic planting. Working alongside leading architects and interior designers, they collaborate with highly skilled landscape contractors, craftsmen and specialist designers to create unique designs for every client that most importantly, feel good to live in.

Sheila came to garden and landscape design after a successful career as an Art Director for publications such as US Vogue and UK Harper’s Bazaar before deciding to pursue a lifelong passion for design, architecture and horticulture, re-training as a garden designer at the LCGD, Kew. She received the college prize and went on to work with leading UK garden designers Emily Erlam, Marcus Barnett, Butter Wakefield and McWilliam Studio. Sheila is a Society of Garden Designers Awards double winner and was also shortlisted for the 2021 Awards. She collaborated with furniture designer Tom Raffield at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019 which was awarded five stars.

Space Group’s present works have their roots combined in the past, such as forgotten methods, and in future technologies. Every project, built or un-built, follows a key-narrative that is identified at an early stage. Once it is found it is rolled out over the entire project no matter what scale. This is why Space Group prefer to be involved in projects down to the last detail – from the urban context to the architectural space to the finishes and furniture.

Landscape architect Stefano Marinaz has carved out a career from his life-long love for plants, having grown up in a family of horticulturalists in Northern Italy. After completing degrees in both Agronomy and Landscape Architecture in his native Italy, as well as an MA in Landscape Architecture at the University of Greenwich, Marinaz worked at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew and Arne Maynard’s studio, with private clients that took him across the globe. In 2012 Marinaz established his own practice, undertaking commissions that range from large-scale, hard landscaping projects on country estates to smaller, urban plots. His work extends well beyond the usual plant schemes to include furniture, lighting, sculpture and fencing, as well as a thorough follow-up maintenance programme with the help of two Kew-trained gardeners that he employs.

Studio 163 is an Architecture RIBA Chartered Practice. Based in London and Norfolk, they are committed to producing meaningful places with a strong community focus.

Residential projects have included new build homes, extensions, retrofits as well as conservation-focused projects. They enjoy the challenges of awkward, previously unconsidered sites, straddling the line between planning, development and design.

The attitude of the office is to allow room for appropriation and customisation of spaces by the people who use them.

Ben Allen founded his eponymous, award-winning, multidisciplinary design practice in 2014. Based in London, Studio Ben Allen approaches projects from the space where architecture, design and art meet, affording it a varied portfolio of completed work. After graduating from Mackintosh School of Architecture, Ben went on to work for Jonathan Tuckey Design before moving to Berlin, where he spent almost 10 years working for spatial research specialists, Studio Olafur Eliasson.

Studio Ben Allen is dedicated to ‘unique and engaging spatial sequences’ and incorporates a wealth of disciplines to bring a project to life. Working alongside Ben Allen himself are a host of experienced, in-house collaborators, including Omar Ghazal, who was Project Lead on House Recast – overall winner at the ‘Don’t Move Improve’ Awards 2021.

The studio was founded by Filippo Calvagno, whose creative background spans the worlds of art and dance. Born in Germany to Sicilian parents, his early exposure to artistic freedom continues to shape his approach today.

Studio Hagen Hall is a London-based multidisciplinary design studio working across architecture, interiors, furniture, product and textiles. Research, materiality, craft and detail underpin every project, regardless of scale or typology. The studio balances beauty, pragmatism and comfort equally, producing work that is precise in its execution yet warm and approachable in character.

Founded in 2021 by Louis Hagen Hall, the studio has quickly established a reputation for thoughtful transformations of early to late modernist buildings. Prior to setting up the studio, Louis studied at the Royal College of Art and the Architectural Association, and gained experience with notable practices including Peter Eisenman, Seth Stein and DSDHA before establishing Studio Hagen Hall.

Since its founding, Studio Hagen Hall has been recognised for its ability to preserve and reinterpret modernist architecture with sensitivity and clarity. Awards to date include a 2025 RIBA London Award for Pine Heath and Best House Interior at the Dezeen Awards 2021 for Canyon House, with further shortlisting across the Architect’s Journal Retrofit & Reuse Awards and the British Homes Awards. In recent years, Studio Hagen Hall’s work has been widely published in national and international media outlets including Wallpaper, Architectural Digest, Elle Decoration, House & Garden, the Financial Times and the Observer. Louis Hagen Hall has also been nominated for the RIBA Stephen Lawrence Prize in 2025.
