From ornate cast-iron door knockers, rare laboratory taps and intricately patterned bronze finger plates, their online showroom and store is a one-stop-shop for authentic home hardware.
Water and Wood began in 2018, when its founder realised that there was a gap in the market for original products of this kind whilst restoring their own Victorian house. With a primary focus on the Victorian, Georgian, Edwardian and Art Deco eras, Water and Wood pride themselves on preserving the high quality craftsmanship of the 1850s to 1970s – a time period when hardware was built to last. For each hand-picked piece, the best way to delicately restore and reassemble the item is duly considered, making sure that no original character is lost, whilst retaining as many of the original component parts as possible.
