Mosley Thorold
Founded in 2017 by Nathaniel Mosley and Henry Thorold, Mosley Thorold is a London-based architecture practice rooted in a deep understanding of materials and making, expressing a hands-on approach to curating spaces for life. Each project reveals a unique story of bespoke detailing and the important collaboration between architect and maker.
For Mosley Thorold, an understanding of the way things are made is integral to designing beautiful objects and spaces for living. Hands-on craftsmanship is not a style but a method that works. It begins with drawings as tools for thinking, models as working prototypes, and conversations with clients as central to design. They curate spaces for living by collaborating with makers, joiners, metalworkers and specialist fabricators who speak the language of their tools; be they traditional or contemporary.
