Established in 1999 by director Paul Archer, London-based architectural practice Paul Archer Design have gained industry-wide recognition for designing and executing high-quality and inspiring residential projects. The pursuit of design innovation has driven the practice’s work for more than 20 years, leading to multiple awards along the way.

Projects completed by the architects include new-builds, extensions, remodelling, and the renovation of historic listed buildings. Paul Archer Design have worked throughout London and nationally on some outstanding residential homes and they’re highly successful at achieving planning permission. Known for their contemporary and crisp aesthetic, the practice tries to – wherever possible – utilise green solutions in their projects. They work closely with their clients as the design process evolves and the end result aims to be a beautiful, practical and enjoyable home.

Pia is an interior designer who puts sustainability at the forefront of her designs, working with clients to create their perfect home through reimagining and refurbishment. With a degree in Interior Architecture, Pia intuitively balances the context of the building itself with the lifestyle of her clients to create long-lasting and beautiful homes that feel truly personal to their inhabitants.

PINCH is led by husband and wife partnership, Russell Pinch and Oona Bannon. An established British design studio, it is celebrated for its consistently high-quality and genre defining furniture. Their dedication to craft and process is evident in their products, characterized by a quiet and elegant aesthetic. Russell and Oona describe their work as ‘authentic’ and ‘thoughtful’. They believe in poetic design, making beautiful things, pieces that endure, inspire and aspire to be inherited. PINCH is run from their studio and showroom in Clapham, London. Whilst most pieces are held in stock, PINCH also offer bespoke alterations to many of their designs on request.

Rory Macpherson studied interior design at the Inchbald School in Knightsbridge, winning Principal’s Prize when he graduated and, at aged just 23, went on to work for a well-established design company designing super-high-end homes and yachts in the UK and Italy. He founded Play Associates in 2011.

Having now completed a dozen homes, offices and bars in and around London, Play’s current projects include a large family home in Primrose Hill town house and a mansion flat in Maida Vale.

Surrey-based garden designer Pollyanna Wilkinson set up her design studio in 2017, after a decade working in marketing in the city. Her work demonstrates a considered balance between elegance and practicality, creating gardens that often act as natural extensions to the homes which they surround. Whether it be a contemporary and luxurious London courtyard, or a large-scale country estate, capturing both the character of the property and the personal style of the owners lies at the heart of Polly’s work.

Polly qualified as a counsellor prior to starting her studio. Whilst she no longer practices, she is passionate about the impact of gardens on mental health and wellbeing, and designs with an appreciation for this in mind. Pollyanna has earned a handful of awards from two consecutive years exhibiting at Hampton Court Flower show, including the RHS People’s Choice Award 2019 and the RHS Silver Medal 2019.

Founded in 2002, Powell Tuck Associates is an award-winning architecture and interiors practice based in West London. The practice take on both new and existing buildings, weaving their passion for detail and commitment to honest materials into every undertaking. John Proctor and Mike Shaw have collaborated together since 2004. Their individual and shared experiences have included small projects, award-winning public buildings, commercial work and individual homes. They have worked with some of the UK’s most recognised institutions including The Design Museum, the V&A Museum and the Wallace Collection, and they both have a wealth of big-practice experience. Today they run this open-minded, friendly practice that specialises in London-based residential new builds, refurbishments and extensions. An integral part of the service they offer is built-in furniture for kitchens, bathrooms and custom-storage, which they design and create with local craftspeople and consultants.

Founded in 2001, Shoreditch-based Quinn Architects specialise in architecture, plus design for interiors and furniture. Their expertise for creating an intelligent response to everyday use has led them to work on a diverse range of residential projects. These include contemporary and historic refurbishments, plus exceptional one-off houses for private clients. They’re a small and well-resourced practice with an analytical approach to design and a passion which ensures long-standing relationships with their clients. They love the process of turning buildings into homes and they believe this experience should be shared by all involved. Each of Quinn Architects’ projects is undertaken with curiosity and exceptional attention to detail.

RAW Interiors was founded by Rachel Aisling Walker, an interior architect and designer, with extensive experience running high-end residential, commercial and exhibition projects. She established her own studio after working in-house for Casson Mann, Rolfe Judd Architects, Harriet Anstruther Studio, and, most recently, as a senior interior designer at Rose Uniacke, where she spent six years.

Her aesthetic sensibility is deeply rooted in her upbringing in the lakeside town of Angera, in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. Countless childhood visits to the historic palaces in the surrounding area were an early source of inspiration: from richly furnished rooms to Renaissance gardens.

Rachel’s approach to interiors fuses architectural, design, and historical elements, resulting in elegant interiors that are serene, timeless, and inviting. Her work is a testament to her skill in mixing antique, modern, and contemporary furniture with her own designs, always with an eye for the unexpected.

Rachel’s expertise extends to all aspects of a project, from design to construction. Her calm, measured and meticulous approach resonates with both clients and contractors.

Rebekah founded her design practice, Rebekah Caudwell Design, in 2009. She is based in London & NYC, with projects running simultaneously on both sides of the Atlantic. Her design work is mainly residential, a primary focus being Greenwich Village Townhouses, and she has also refurbished a super yacht and a Cap d’Antibes villa.

Rebekah believes in creating something personal, warm and dramatic. She has an inherent understanding of space and how to maximize its potential. Unafraid of risks, she has a bold and exciting aesthetic which she achieves with graphic patterning and strong colour use.

Based in Shoreditch and with offices in Los Angeles and Barcelona, progressive architectural and design studio Red Deer is “a herd of Architects, friends and designers” who create striking spaces that reflect their love of expression, travel and originality. Previous residential projects include a variety of creative London homes, plus an impressive commercial client list including Lina Stores, Smokestak, Bourne and Hollingsworth and Uniqlo.

Red Deer was founded by Lionel Real de Azúa, Ciarán O’Brien and Lucas Che Tizard who all worked together previously at an architectural practice in West London. A shared love of the unexpected informs their work and they set out with a desire to better engage with the world around them. The diverse team’s skillset also encompasses set design, prop and product design and teaching.
