Rita has worked as an interior designer for the past 12 years, including a six year stint in New York. Now based in London, she continues to criss-cross the Atlantic for selected projects. Rita twins her design commissions with style journalism: she’s European editor for T Magazine at The New York Times, and also writes a column for House & Garden.

Jeremy Pitts studied Architecture at Art College before beginning his career designing private houses – from detailing the building itself to interior fit out, fittings and furniture.  This enabled him to see the whole process of making a house and, more importantly, a home. These early days saw Jeremy develop a practice of working with skilled craftspeople (cabinet makers, metalworkers etc.) and to seek unusual and exceptional materials.

His work today is focused on smaller furniture and cabin-making projects, working collaboratively with a range of skilled makers and sourcing difficult to find materials, particularly large boards of UK grown timber.

DEDRAFT are an architectural and interiors studio based Hackney, East London. We approach each project with a vision for imaginative yet functional design. We have no defined ‘house style’ but rather seek to create a lasting, holistic design encompassing key aspects of the brief  – we do not do trends! With issues of the climate foremost in our thinking we design robust, sustainable, low-carbon architecture, We offer the full range of architectural services, project management and site supervision. This is highly dependent on the nature of the project, scale and budget however our service can be tailored to the unique needs of the project from feasibility to completion.

Our approach involves collaborations with other designers and consultants which we feel provide an enriched and stimulating design process as well as creating those timeless and responsive pieces of architecture. DEDRAFT have experience in many sectors including residential, both new-build and refurbishment, social housing, interiors, retail, wellness, commercial fit-out, and landscape/ garden design.

Over the past decade we have streamlined our process from design to handover to be able to deliver built projects ranging from £50k up to £8M.

Another Brand has a unique structure that connects designer and manufacturer utilising the strength and capabilities of both partners to create new and innovative products under the Creative Direction of Studio Theo Williams. Products are rooted in the DNA of Another Brand, and encompass diverse categories. Their furniture range – Cubo – is designed to adapt to any room, business or domestic, and is easily modified by the manufacturer to suit the client’s needs. Theo Williams progressed from designing products for brands like Alessi, to lead design and creative roles with Habitat and John Lewis.

Nia has been designing residential spaces since 1997 and was a founding Director of both Studio Ohm and Cloud Design Studios. She established Nia Morris Studio in 2016 and it is now a busy practice based in London and the Cotswolds specialising in residential interior design. Nia and her team are great advocates of an eclectic approach – mixing vintage with new, a cool, linear interior with a big rococo statement piece, a monochrome colour scheme with a single splash of bright colour. This is not an “anything goes” approach but a carefully considered assessment of how pieces work together.  This is apparent from the end results which feel cohesive and deliberate and anything but random.

Muuto is rooted in the Scandinavian design traditions of enduring aesthetics, functionality, craftsmanship and an honest expression. Shed are interior designers and architects who’ve been designing and delivering environments for some of the world’s leading companies since 2000. They are straight talking, smart thinking creatives who work across residential and commercial, specialising in branded interior design. Their focus is on originality and innovation in everything they do.

Louise Tucker is a design studio focused on the creation of intricate, beautiful lighting using a pioneering blend of traditional craft weaving techniques and contemporary product design, inspired by organic form. The studio creates a range of made-to-order light pieces, hand woven out of sustainably sourced specialist maple wood. Decorative and elegant, environmentally conscious and sustainable, each product is carefully crafted in Wales, with a focus on material development, construction and form, which highlights the care of the maker.

ferm LIVING draws on Scandinavian design traditions and simple aesthetics – but with a distinctive graphic edge that makes every item firmly contemporary. ferm LIVING is based in Denmark, where Trine Andersen founded a graphic design studio in 2005, soon expanding into design and interior products. As Trine found herself unable to find wallpaper with the kind of graphic design she wanted, she took matters into her own hands – and her first wallpaper collection was launched in February 2006. Ferm now stocks a constantly growing range of interior products, available around the globe. Even so, all designs remain rooted in the Danish soil, where it all began.

Honky is a multi-disciplinary, award winning architectural and interior design practice based in London. Founded in 2001 by Christopher Dezille (SBID, BIID), the Honky creative team provides a full design service, including interior architecture and schemes, finishes and styling. They have also worked with most of the UK’s leading housebuilders and developers, creating individual and innovative show homes.
