Honky is a multi-disciplinary, award winning architectural and interior design practice based in London. Founded in 2001 by Christopher Dezille (SBID, BIID), the Honky creative team provides a full design service, including interior architecture and schemes, finishes and styling. They have also worked with most of the UK’s leading housebuilders and developers, creating individual and innovative show homes.

Founded in 2020 by Emma Bodie and Matthew Sanders, House Of EM is a London-based RIBA Chartered practice delivering bold, context-driven architecture and interiors across the UK and Europe. Emma and Matt bring over eight years of experience as Directors at the leading architecture and interior design studio, Michaelis Boyd. 

The studio works with a diverse palette of new and traditional materials to create buildings and spaces that balance confidence with sensitivity, while always responding to clients’ needs and the site. Every project is considered holistically, from the smallest interior detail to the overall external form to ensure a cohesive, functional and inspiring design.

Collaboration is at the heart of the practice, guiding clients with clarity, care, and building trust through open communication and a flexible approach. The result is architecture and interiors that are distinctive yet approachable, and always thoughtfully rooted in their context.

Founded by Louisa Grey, House of Grey have developed a distinct aesthetic that holds both the earth and human health within the studio’s core values. House of Grey approach interior design from a ‘whole-person-whole-world’ perspective that combines their remarkable, defined aesthetic with evidence-based, salutogenic design concepts and cradle-to-cradle® materials.

This all-encompassing approach means that considerately sourced, natural materials are used as widely as possible, which often go beyond sustainability and instead positively add to the earth at their end-of-life. In this way, House of Grey are dedicated to eliminating unnecessary waste all together to create a supportive, circular model that incites long-term wellness for the world as a whole.

House of Quinn create small-batch collections of quilts, textiles and unique objects for the home. The design practice was founded in 2016 by Julius Arthur, who grounds his process in simplicity and exploration to create abstract views of the places and things around us. Whether created by stitching, painting or printing, the items House of Quinn produces are anchored by their sense of function, becoming simple luxuries for the everyday. Julius Arthur is the author of Modern Quilting: A Contemporary Guide to Quilting by Hand (Hardie Grant, 2021).

With over 30 years of experience sourcing and selling antiques, Goldsmiths alumnus Christopher Howe went on to launch his own handmade furniture and lighting brand, Made by HOWE, which coincided with the opening of his second showroom on London’s Pimlico Road in 1995. With creations based on his favourite historical designs, customers can commission pieces ranging from sofas, fireplaces, tables and chairs; tailoring size, fabric and details to suit their taste. Each piece is made in Britain, with meticulous attention paid to the choice of timber and the traditional methods used to make each item. So much so, that HOWE London has furnished works for some of Britain’s most trusted institutions, including Hampton Court Palace, Strawberry Hill House, The National Gallery and Sir John Soane’s Museum.

In 2004, Howe became the first person to have a single owner sale, Christopher Howe: The First Twenty Years, at Christie’s in South Kensington. This sale included items of furniture from the 18th-20th century, plus a selection of bespoke pieces from the HOWE London collection.

Founded by Rebecca James, Interior Desires is an award winning studio that specialises in luxury interior design projects around the world. Their holistic, multidisciplinary approach to design ensures that each project is completely unique; tailor made for each client. Fashion and art play an important role in the work they do and they say they “design for the future, by drawing inspiration from the past and the present”. Each project is treated with a meticulous attention to detail to ensure a unique final product. Their work is often described as bold and thought provoking and regardless of the nature of the project, the ultimate goal is to create refined, balanced and harmonious spaces.

Irenie Studio is a highly creative studio working on the widest possible variety of visionary projects with residential clients, other designers and established brands. The studio naturally has a bespoke approach to every project, relishing the fact that each object, building, space and person is utterly unique. Based in London, we collaborate with an extensive network of creative minds, artisans and crafts people to build and make beautiful works.

Founder Irenie Cossey has over twenty years of experience in architecture and design, colour and styling and curating. Her work spans across private residential houses, innovative product design, illustration, and installations. She has collaborated with leading design studios such as Barber Osgerby, Universal Design Studio, Map Project Studio, Luciano Giubbilei Studio, Softroom Architects, and Skidmore Owing and Merrill, and consulted for high quality brands such as Mutina, Vitra, Rimowa, British Airways and many more. Irenie is originally from Dublin and a graduate from the Architectural Association (AADIP & RIBA II), and has a BA in Environmental and Spatial design From Technological University Dublin (formerly DIT). She is a registered member of BIID and a Lifetime Fellow at the Royal Society of the Arts.

Founded in 2003 by industrial designer, Jack Trench, the eponymous company has maintained its original ethos of delivering bespoke kitchens and furniture with an emphasis on timeless design and attention to detail. Joined by Edd Thurston in 2008, who played a crucial role in steering the growth and design direction of Jack Trench, and became co-director in 2014. The growing team of cabinet-makers, fitters, designers and studio staff are based in its Tottenham Hale factory and studio, with a Clerkenwell showroom where they welcome visits by appointment, allowing customers to get a close look at the quality of design and build. Using highly detailed CAD software, more commonly used for mechanical engineering, allows the team to design to a particular level of technical detail. As Corian-accredited fabricators, they are able to develop the use of this countertop material in numerous joinery applications.

Jack Trench projects have gained extensive coverage in top design publications, notably World of Interiors, House & Garden, Elle Decoration and Architectural Digest.

Jeremy Pitts studied Architecture at Art College before beginning his career designing private houses – from detailing the building itself to interior fit out, fittings and furniture.  This enabled him to see the whole process of making a house and, more importantly, a home. These early days saw Jeremy develop a practice of working with skilled craftspeople (cabinet makers, metalworkers etc.) and to seek unusual and exceptional materials.

His work today is focused on smaller furniture and cabin-making projects, working collaboratively with a range of skilled makers and sourcing difficult to find materials, particularly large boards of UK grown timber.

London-based architectural firm Jonathan Tuckey Design has gained plaudits for its work with existing buildings and structures, creating thoughtful contemporary designs that layer new beautifully with old.
